Pakistan’s rich demographic history makes it home to many of the oldest archeological discoveries of the world.
In order to foster foreign and local tourism for such sites, DOAM (Department of Archeology and Museums) required a detailed understanding of Pakistan’s historical sites.
Optimization
TPL Maps developed a proprietary mobile application and website for the general public, which was powered by TPL Maps location data:
The TPL Maps surveying team also conducted detailed surveys, including imagery collection, geotagging and validation for c. 500 selected sites across the country.
